Teddy is a 2021 tamil fantasy comedy thriller directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan and produced by Gnanavel Raja and Aadhana Gnanavel Raja. Arya, Sayeeshaa, Sathish and Magizh Thirumeni are in the lead roles.

The story revolves around Arya who has a photographic mind who keeps boosting up his brains by reading books. Things take a turn when Sayeeshaa meets with an injury and gets admitted in a hospital. She is then injected with a medicine which takes people to a coma stage and keeps the body alive for many days. Then her spirit is enters in to a teddy. Her spirit within the teddy manages to escape from the hospital.

Then the teddy sees and follows Shiva(Arya) who is her only hope. Arya then hears the story from the teddy and decides to connect the dots and solve the mystery. Is there a big cycle behind this? Will he manage to solve the mystery? Will he help her? is the rest of the story. This is a illegal racquet business by Magizh Thirumeni.

Arya’s transformation from an innocent Shiva to an Action Shiva keeps the audience engaged creating expectations on his next move. His performance and mannerism looks good. Though Sayyeshaa didn’t have a big role in it, she should be appreciated for doing the role well she was given. E.B.Gokulan who portrayed as Teddy has to be appreciated for rocking in his given character which had good comical sense in it. Sathish who played as Appu, Arya’s friend didn’t have a big role in it. To say about the music, D.Imman could have concentrated a little bit.

Director Sakthi Soundar Rajan has to be applauded for his contribution in bringing out a kids entertainer movie with a well narrated script. Teddy is a family entertainer which would keep the kids enjoyable.
