The director of the film Vijay Jayapal, is a HR professional turned aspiring filmmaker, who had quit his job a few months back to pursue his passion in the film industry.
“The Surreal” is his second short film, where he had already made a short film last year, which he claims to be his first attempt at knowing the basics of filmmaking.
The film’s cinematography has been done by Vanchinathan, a former associate of ace cameraman Ravi K Chandran and music has been composed by Shamanth, whose earlier credits include a Tamil and a Telugu feature film.
