R.Kannan of Jeyamkondan and Settai fame is about to direct a new film titled “Ivan Thanthiran”, in which Gautham Karthick is playing as the male lead. Along with Gautham Karthick, Shratha Srinath has been roped in to play as the female lead. Shratha Srinath has earlier acted in ‘U-Turn’ a Kannada movie. Director in his media release has mentioned that ‘Rain’ would be playing an important part along with the Hero and Heroine of the movie.
Kannan adds that since Rain has to play a pivotal role in the movie, the movie has been delayed nearly for eight months and is been planned to be shot this October and November months. He says that they had been hunting for a suitable female lead to play as a Heroine of the movie and at last they found out Shratha Srinath. Director describes that Shratha Srinath is aptly suitable for the scripted character of the movie. The movie is expected a masala flick consisting romance, action and comedy.
The movie is being produced by Ashaa Sri for Abhiraa Pvt.Ltd. V.N.Mohan who had earlier worked as co-cameraman for Cinematographer P.C.Sreeram is debuting as Cinematographer in this movie.
