“Thamizhar Veera Vilayattu Meetpu Kazhagam” a Pro Jallikattu Outfit headed by its Preaidential Organiser Rajesh along with his supporters staged a protest demonstration near Thiruvalluvar Bus Stand in Trichy. Their protest mainly condemned Soundarya Rajinikanth for recently accepting to be a Co-opted Member(Brand Ambassador) of the “Animal Welfare Board of India(AWBI)”.
In a press statement released by Rajesh, the Presidential Organiser of the organisation, he has mentioned that Soundarya Rajinikanth’s father and actor Rajinikanth had earlier acted in a Tamil movie titled “Murattu Kalai” in which Rajinikanth plays a scene where he tames a Bull. He also adds that the scene played by Rajinikanth in that movie was well registered in the hearts of every Tamilians.
Their agitation claims that the AWBI had been an hindrance and have also filed petition in the judiciary against conducting Jallikattu. Hence they have staged protest demonstration demanding Soundarya Rajinikanth to resign from the post of Co-opted Member(Brand Ambassador) of the AWBI.
They have also requested Rajinikanth to intervene in this matter and advice Soundarya Rajinikanth to resign from AWBI. It is to be noted that today is Soundarya Rajinikanth’s birthday.
