DMK President and Ex-Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu who had been ill for several months was admitted earlier in December 2016 and was discharged after few weeks. After few months he was again admitted and been discharged after few days.
Later after discharge from the hospital, he was treated with medical assistance at his Gopalapuram residence. Karunanidhi is said to have been recovering slowly, and few days ago a tube which was earlier connected in his through was removed due to betterment in his health condition. In this situation, Karunanidhi has been taken to Kaveri Hospital today early morning stating that it was for his routine check up. It’s to be noted that Karunanidhi is being taken to Kaveri Hospital for the third time since December 2016.
Karunanidhi has been accompanied by Rajathi Ammal, his eldest daughter Selvi, youngest son Mu.Ka.Thamizharasu, Sources close to Karunamidhi family says that there is nothing to panic and it’s just a routine check-up including few medical tests which can’t be undergone anywhere other than a Hospital.
