Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, inaugurated the Kalaignar Library in Madhavaram, Chennai North East District, today. The event, organized by the DMK Youth Wing, also saw the distribution of financial assistance to 10 individuals, including differently-abled persons and those in need of medical support.
In addition to the welfare measures, the DMK Youth Wing announced a new initiative to empower young members through social media training. As part of this program, one youth from each section will be selected to undergo specialized training to enhance their digital skills. To support their efforts, TAB devices were distributed to five selected individuals in the first phase of the initiative.
Speaking at the event, Udhayanidhi Stalin expressed his love and congratulations to all the beneficiaries, particularly those who received the TAB devices. He emphasized the importance of leveraging technology and social media to amplify the voices of the youth and strengthen their participation in public discourse.
The inauguration of the Kalaignar Library and the welfare initiatives underscore the DMK Youth Wing’s commitment to education, empowerment, and social welfare. The event was attended by local leaders, party members, and residents, who lauded the efforts to support marginalized communities and equip the youth with modern tools for success.
The DMK Youth Wing plans to expand its social media training program and welfare initiatives in the coming months, aiming to reach more individuals across the state.
