Nivar cyclone has been threatening Tamil Nadu for the past two days. This cyclone has hit many parts of Tamil Nadu with strong wind and heavy rain.
Most of the coastal and neighbouring ares of Tamil Nadu has been a every hit by this Nivar cyclone and the heaVy rains due to it.
Many parts of the state especially Chennai has been flooded with rain water. Cyclone and heavy rain hit areas went dark yesterday with electricity blackout. Many houses and commercial establishment in Chennai was flooded with rain water. Residents of rain water flooded areas in Chennai experienced huge difficulties.
Fisheries Minister D.Jayakumar visited flood hit areas and served the affected public with food packets, groceries, mats and few other essential things out of his own money. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy coming to know about the vist of Minister D.Jayakumar in flood hit areas, appreciated him by posting a tweet on his official Twitter page wishing Jayakumar for his works during this Nivar cyclone.
