Director Shankar is currently on his project 2.O where Rajinikanth, Akshaykumar and Amy Jackson are doing the lead roles. The movie is being produced by Lyca Production with a budget of Rs.300 crores. Rajinikanth who was earlier in this movie shoot in till May 2015 complained of some health issue and let abroad for treatment.
Rajinikanth after a full treatment from Chicago returned to Chennai a month ago and met Director Shankar and had discussed about the pending shots of his scenes in the movie. Shankar had updated him about his scenes and other things pertaining to the movie. Producers and Director after getting the green signal from Rajinikanth, started arranging the process of shoot for Rajinikanth.
Scenes consisting of Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson and few shots of the climax including chasing scenes are being shot says reliable sources. The shoot for the movie is currently happening at Thirukazhikundram, 40 kilometres away from Chennai. The First Look Poster of 2.O is expected to be released by November 2016.
Director Shankar has mentioned in his tweet as, “2.o 2/3 150”. This quote looks like that 2/3rd of 2.O movie has been completed in 150 Days. Hope Shankar and Team would satisfy audiences huge expectation on 2.O.
