Recently the Supreme Court of India had issued an order stating that private schools should allot 25% free seats for the poor. But most of the private schools do not follow the order of Supreme court by providing 25% free education to the poor.
Today (8th May 2013) Mr.P.V.Tamilselvan, Councillor of Ward 91 of Chennai Corporation along with few of his party members and parents made a sudden protest and shouted slogans in front of the DAV Boys Higher Secondary School at Mogappair demanding the school management to provide the 25% free seat for the poor as ordered by the Supreme Court of India.
