“Sivappu” is a romantic movie with emotions – Rajkiran:

Sivappu is a movie written and directed by ‘Kazhugu’ movie fame Sathyasiva. Rajkiran plays a pivotal role in the movie. Naveen Chandran is the hero and Roopa Manjiri is the heroine of the film. Along with them Thambiramaiah, Bose Venkat, A.Venkatesh, Sona and few other artistes have acted in the movie.

Senior Cinematographer Madhu Ambat has handled the camera work, N.R.Raghunathan has scored the music and Snehan has penned the lyrics for the movie. The movie crew met the media yesterday in Chennai for a meet.

Rajkiran while addressing the media said that the movie is based about Srilankan Tamil refugees. But not even a single frame has been pictured in Srilanka. Rajkiran says that the movie portrays a romance between the hero and the heroine who work as daily labourers in a construction company. He explains that the young lovers express their emotions and exchange their feelings about their worries and pains. He adds his personal comment that the refugees here are not really enjoying, but suffering with some personal pains.

Three songs from the movie were projected to the media and the making of each song touches the heart of every audience. The scene pictured where the hero and heroine exchanging a handful of food hiding others eating with them, proves the precise in the directorial work on romance.

The movie has been produced by ‘Punnagai Poo’ Geetha and Late.Muktha.R.Govindh for Muktha Entertainment.

The movie is expected to be released in the month of May 2015. Expectations are more for this film, since Rajkiran has played in the lead role and the director had already given a critically acclaimed movie “Kazhagu”.
