Recently, Director Shankar had released a Tamil movie “Kappal” directed Karthi who had earlier assisted Shankar in few of his film. Though it could not enter the box office, it performed average. Adult comedy in the movie made attract the youth audience.
Sources say that director Karthi had few day before met actor Udhayanidhi Stalin and had described Udhaynidhi with a story line. It is said that Udhaynidhi has been convinced with the story said by Karthi. Udhayanidhi’s “Nanbendaa” has been completed and is in the pipeline to be released in April 2015.
Currently Udhayanidhi is working with Director Ahmed in “Idhayam Murali” and Director Thirukumaran’s untitled film. Once these two films are completed, Udhayanidhi may work with “Kappal” Karthi.
