“Vellakaaradurai” movie starring Vikram Prabhu, Sri Divya and Parotta Soori was released worldwide on 25th of December 2014. The music for the movie was scored by D.Imman, directed by S.Ezhil and produced by renowned film distributor Anbuchezhiyan through Gopuram Films banner.
The movie was initially released in 200 theaters. Looking after the feedback from the audiences the producers had decided to increase the number of theaters and shows. It is said that the movie has been additionally released with 100 more theaters. Since “Vellakaaradurai” was released along with other three Tamil movies, few theaters had screened lesser shows of the movie “Vellakaaradurai”. Looking after the success of the movie “Vellakaaradurai” exhibitors have increased there shows.
Though “Vellakaaradurai” is said to be the first film produced by Anbuchezhian, he has distributed more than 1000 films. Understanding the success of his first movie, Anbuchezhian is planning to produce more films in future.
