“Ner Ethir” is a suspense thriller tamil film to be released soon. The film is being directed by Mr. Jayapradeep and produced by “The Movie House Entertainment”. Kalaipuli S.Thanu of V Creations has procured the rights of the film to release worldwide. Ajith’s brother-in-law Richard stars as the Hero in the film and Vidya Plays as the Heroine of the film. Parthi a debutant plays as the villan of the film. Vidhya, Aishwarya Menon, M.S.Baskar and few others have also acted in the film. Music has been scored by Sathish Narayanan.
The Audio & Trailer launch of the film “Ner Ethir” took place at Prasad Lab, Chennai on the evening of January 12, 2014. Directors P.Vasu, A.R.Murugadoss, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vikraman, R.K.Selvamani, Cameraman R.D.Rajshekar and many others attended the Audio & Trailer launch event.
In the presence of Director P.Vasu and others, A.R.Murugadoss released the Audio and Gautham Vasudev Menon received it. Before the audio and trailer launch of the film, the trailer was screened for the guests , invitees and the media persons.
We have identified that the trailer of the film “Ner Ethir” resembles that of the 2009 English film “Across the Hall” directed by Alex Merkin and starred by Mike Vogel, Brittany Murphy, Danny Pino and others. This film “Across the Hall” was earlier made as a short film by the same director in the year 2005 and was distributed by Samsung. It is to be noted that “Ner Ethir” has the caption THE CHECKMATE 504 and “Across the Hall” has the caption BEHIND DOOR 508, which resembles and means near to each other in the plot of the story.

Richard the hero of the film was not present in the Audio and Trailer launch of the film. Kalipuli S.Thanu and others who spoke on the dias only appreciated debutant villan Parthi and none mentioned Richard’s name or spoke about him. Sources say that Parthi, villan of the film “Ner Ethir” is a close relative of Kalaipuli S.Thanu. Hence Parthi has been given importance and Richard been sidelined.
