Lyricist Pa.Vijay who had penned more than thousand songs for Tamil movies and had acted in two Tamil movies. But both the movies he had acted did not reach the box office collection.
Now the lyricist is debuting as a director for a tamil movie titled “Strawberry”. Pa.Vijay who addressed the media today, said that the movie is a scientific thriller. He adds that the movie has 40 minutes of computer graphics in it. Talking about the experience on his directorial venture, he said that a pilot shoot took place with a 5D camera and then a permanent shoot took place after errors in the pilot shoot was rectified.
The movie is been star casted by Pa.Vijay and Avni Modi in lead roles. Along with them, Samuthrakani, Devayani, Jo Malluri are playing important roles. Robot Shankar, Mayilsami and Imman Annachi have been roped in to support the movie with comedy scenes. Heroine of the movie Avni Modi plays the character of a scientist. Thambiramiah has made a special appearance in the movie where he plays an important role in it. The movies story has a base line on a real life story of a lady and the movie travels on a call taxi driver. Movie has been shot in Chennai and Pondicherry. The rerecording of the movie has been performed with live orchestration.
Tajnoor has scored music for the movie, in which Music directors D.Imman and G.V.Prakash have sung two different songs.
The audio launch of the movie is expected to happen in the month of June 2015 and movie is likely to release in July 2015.
