“Komban” is a Tamil movie which was released on 1st April after a deep struggle. Dr.Krishnaswamy, leader of ‘Pudhiya Tamizhagam’ is said to be the kingpin for creating issues against the movie. It is to be noted that it is not the first time Dr.Krishnaswamy had given trouble to a movie. He has already troubled Kamalahassan for his movie titled ‘Chandiyar’. Later the movie was renamed as ‘Vurumandi’.
But this time the judiciary after examining into the issues pertaining to the movie ‘Komban’ and petitions against the movie filed by the advocates of Dr.Krishnaswamy and the advocates of the producers of ‘Komban’ movie issued judgement favouring the movie ‘Komban’ and its team.
As the judgement came in favour of the movie, the release date planned for 2nd April was preplanned to 1st April starting from the evening show. 1st April is said to be the day the judgement had been issued in favour of ‘Komban’.
The movie is said to be running successful in theaters throughout Tamilnadu and other parts of the country and overseas. In regard to the success of the movie, the team wanted to celebrate its success by addressing the media to thank both the media for supporting the movie crew during the dispute period and the audience for making the movie a overwhelming success.
K.E.Gnanavelraja, Producer of the movie while addressing the media expressed his heartfelt thanks to the media for their support. Parallel to it, he expressed his distress for the I’ll happenings that had occurred to him and the movie crew during its pre release. On a question raises by the journalists whether any case of defamation be filed against Dr.Krishnaswamy. Replying to the question, Gnanavelraja said that they are planning to file defamation case against Dr.Krishnaswamy. He also added that the preliminary works to file the said defamation has started and would be informed to media once the case has been filed.
At last it is producer K.E.Gnanavelraja who has initiated himself to answer the question “Who is to bell the cat?”.
The others present during the movie success meet were artistes of the movie, Karthi, Lakshmi Menon, Kovai Sarla, Marimuthu, Karunaas, Director of the movie Muthiah and few other artistes and other technicians of the movie.
