“Messenger of God” is a Hindi movie yet to be released. This movie has been directed by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh & Jeetu Arora. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is said to be a Godman and being called as Guruji by his followers. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh had independently taken care of script & Music. Apart from that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has done the cinematography of the film along with Vineet Sapru Mangal. The movie was fully completed and was denied certification by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) stating few reasons.
Yesterday(21st Jan 2015) Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh came to Chennai and addressed the media persons. While talking to the media, he explained that the movie had been completed in 67 days. He stated that Thirteen Lakh people have acted in this film and a lot of efforts had been given by him and others in getting out the film. He also said that the story of the movie is based on Drug mafia and the movie portrays few scenes of his personal experience where once his life was in threat. He explained that he had been attacked many times and had escaped.
As per the explanation of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the movie is said to be against Drugs and would be a lesson for youngsters on, How to come out of drugs? On a question about the reason for denial of certification by the CBFC, he said that on the first attempt for certification the CBFC was not able to understand the proper content of the movie. On screening for the revising committee, they were not able to certify the movie stating that the film could not be certified since Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh had been portrayed as a God in the movie “Messenger of God”. He also added that since certification had been denied twice, he had approached the Tribunal and they certified the movie with an order to delete a dialogue and make a mute at one place. As Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was satisfied with the orders of the Tribunal, he accepted to do the corrections and got the film certified said Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.
A question was raised by us whether any political pressure had been influenced by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh against the then Chairperson of CBFC Ms. Leela Samson. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh denied and said that he never influenced any political pressure against Leela Samson. He said he did not have any misunderstanding with her. He further said that the God should bless her with long life.
The other star casts in this movie are Daniel Kaleeb, Fllora Saini, Jayshree Soni, Olexendra Seman, Gaurav Gera, Jay Singh Rajpoot, Himanshu Tiwari and few others. The movie has seven songs in it.
Though the movie is been opposed by few parts of Sikh community and requesting ban on the film, the movie is been planned to be released in the month of February 2015. Lets wait for few days to watch the movie and and find out whether the movie is really worthy.
