“Aambala” is a movie that has been released worldwide today for Pongal. The movie stars Vishal and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. Along with them, Vaibhav, Santhanam, Sathish join with them in the whole film. Vijayakumar, Prabhu, Ramya Krishnan, Kiran, Aishwarya, Pradeep Rawat, Sriman, Abishek and Manobala do supporting characters in the movie.
Sundar.C has penned the story and directed the film. Music has been composed by Hiphop Tamizha who has also penned the lyrics of the film. Cinematography has been handled by Gopi Amarnath and Srikanth.N.B has taken care of Editing. The hero of the film Vishal has produced the film through his “Vishal Film Factory” banner.
Santhanam a Police Inspector happens to meet Hansika Motwani and tries to convey his expression to her. Vishal who meets Santhanam advices him to drop the love and he proposes Hansika. Santhanam who gets angry on Vishal for proposing Hansika splits the affair between Vishal and Hansika with the help of Vaibhav. Later Vishal meets Vaibhav in a Liquor Bar and both become friends. Vaibhav drops fully drunk Vishal at his house.
Vishal leaves from Ooty to Madurai in search of his separated father. Vaibhav who comes to know that he is his step brother also accompanies Vishal without expressing his relationship. Vishal and Vaibhav meet their father Prabhu who live along with Vishal’s brother Sathish. Vaibhav who had accompanied Vishal in a plan to kill Prabhu, understands the innocence of his father.
Prabhu was separated from his own sisters Ramya Krishnan, Aishwarya and Kiran, since he had been alleged of killing his father Vijayakumar. Prabhu briefs his sons about their family relationship and three daughters of them. Prabhu advices his three sons to get married to Prabhu’s sisters daughters, where Vishal gets upset to marry anyone other than Hansika. Vishal who visit’s his aunt’s house sees Hansika and make his plan to complete the romance mission.
The remaining part of the movie is to watch how Vishal and his brothers introduce themselves and enter into their aunt’s house. How Vishal and his brothers make their aunt’s daughters fall in their love? The truth behind the murder of Prabhu’s father Vijayakumar!
The climax of the story is to be watched and seen whether Prabhu and his sisters unite? Does the love affair of the three succeed?
Santhanam’s comedy keeps engaged for nearly 30 minutes in the first half and around 20 minutes in the second half. Apart from Santhanam, Vaibhav and Sathish have put their efforts in comedy and both are an added advantage for the travel of the movie. The Songs and BGM of Hiphop Tamizha travels normally. Nothing special in the music of Hiphop Tamizha! Technical aspects in the film are made as a usual Sundar.C movie. Sundar.C has made a film to satisfy all segments of audiences. His comedy script is nicely driven by Santhanam. Vishal has to be highly appreciated for his efforts in releasing the film on the date he had planned during the start of the film shoot.
Overall “Aambala” is a “U” certified good family entertainer, fully packed with comedy and action which would satisfy A,B &C segment areas.
