Director Cheran files complaint against pirated CD’s to IG of Police, Trichy:

Director Cheran to launch his new venture C2H (Cinema To Home). His initiative to start it was mainly to eradicate pirated CD’s / DVD’s in the market. He has recently directed and produced a film called “JK ennum Nanbanin Vazhkai”.

In his recent press meet, he had explained about the piracy of movies where it is floating on CD’s, DVD’s, Electronic Gadgets and on the internet. To find a solution to eradicate the piracy of movies, he had initiated to start C2H. Cheran has planned to release his first original movie DVD on Pongal 2015. His directorial “JK ennum Nanbanin Vazhkai” is said to be his first original DVD to be released on the date of the release of the same movie on silver screens.

For the past one year Chearan along with a team of members had made a survey on the demand of DVD’s in the market. Parallel to it he along with his team had taken a data about the manufacturers, distributors and sellers of pirated DVD’s & CD’s.

As the release date of his C2H is nearing, he has started to file complaints with the Commissioners, DIG’s, SP’s, and other police officers about the sellers of pirated movie DVD’s / CD’s. With regard to it Director Cheran today met the Inspector General of Police, Trichy and had filed a complaint against the sale of pirated CD’s and had made a request to take action against them.
