For the past few weeks, Mrs. Latha Rajnikanth wife of Superstar Mr. Rajnikanth name is being passing on the media and within the film industry. On December 26, 2014 an advertisement was published by Exim Bank (Export-Import Bank of India) stating that Latha Rajnikanth had signed as a guarantor for M/s. Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd., pledging her property admeasuring Acres 2.13 cents situated in Thirumudivakkam Village, Sriperambadur Taluk in Kancheepuram District.
Since Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd., had failed to repay the loan amount within the stipulated time, Exim Bank had issued a Demand Notice to Latha Rajnikanth. As per the content mentioned in the advertisement of an English Daily Newspaper, it clearly means that Exim Bank has demanded to repay the amount mentioned in the said notice being Rs.22,21,85,865.18 (Rupees Twenty Two Crore Twenty One Lakh Eighty Five Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Five and Paise Eighteen only) due as on July 17, 2014 together with further interest and liquidated damages as per contractual rates and other expenses/costs thereon w.e.f. July 18, 2014 till payment within 60 days from the date of receipt of the said Notice. It has also been mentioned in the advertisement that the Bank has taken possession of their property situated in Thirumudivakkam Village, Sriperambadur Taluk in Kancheepuram District.
Few days back Dr. Murali Manohar of Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd., who addressed the media said that Latha Rajnikanth had signed only as a Guarantor for their company to avail financial assistance from Exim Bank. But we see few documented evidences which proves that Latha Rajnikanth has signed as Guarantor for M/s. Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd., for getting financial assistances.
Apart from Latha Rajnikanth’s involvement in availing financial assistance for Mediaone, few criminal complaints of Cheating & Fraud IPC have been made with against her with The Commissioner of Police, Chennai in the month of November 2014.
These are few of the issues which are been spoken about Latha Rajnikanth within the film industry and in public. Few fans who have come to know about this issue do comment whether Latha Rajnikanth is defaming Superstar Rajnikanth’s image.
It is time of urgency for Latha Rajnikanth to get rid of these complains and prove her genuinity to save the Goodwill and respect of Superstar Rajnikanth, which he had hard-earned in 40 years of acting.
