Educationist and founder of the Good Shepperd Institutions, Dr P C Thomas, hardly needs an introduction, as a visionary, in the field of education. But very few, know that Dr Thomas is also a brilliant motivational speaker / teacher with decades of experience in mentoring, fostering and shaping skills of several successful individuals in various walks of life.
Dr Thomas will share his several years of experience across various segments of life and society at a special function in Chennai on December 15, 2012, which will also see the release of the book entitled ‘An Event Called Life’.
“If there was one word to describe the way I have lived my life thus far it would be reinvention. I have always believed that every day is an opportunity to recreate the past and better it. In this book I have shared many of those experiences — some that have strengthened my beliefs and some others that have given me fresh perspectives to fruitful life and good living,” says Dr Thomas
The Foreword is written by Mr. Justice M N Venkatachaliah, Former Chief Justice of India. He says, “The book amply rewards the reader. The book launch function will be held at 7.00 p.m. on Saturday, 15th December 2012 at GRT Convention Centre, T. Nagar, Chennai. Dr. M S Swaminathan, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chairman, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation will formally release the book and the first copy will be received by Dr A C Muthiah, Chairman Emeritus, Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd. (SPIC). Several other prominent dignitaries from various walks of life will grace the occasion.
